Sex and the City needs a new hunk?

With the second 'Sex and the City' film due to begin shooting in a few weeks, it appears that Gilles Marini will not be reprising his role as Samantha Jones' (Kim Cattrall) neighbour Dante.
Speaking to E! Online, the actor's representative said: "As far as I know, he will not be in the sequel."
Marini is currently filming a guest role for 'Brothers & Sisters' in which he will play Sarah Walker's (Rachel Griffiths) love interest.
In the next season of 'Nip/Tuck' Marini will appear as Dr Erica Noughton's (Vanessa Redgrave) younger husband.
He is also working on an album.

Cameron Diaz dating 'Sex and the City' star

Hollywood star Cameron Diaz seems to have no dearth of suitors since her split from model Paul Sculfor. The blonde beauty has now been seen getting cosy with 'Sex And The City' star Jason Lewis.

The 37-year-old 'Charlie's Angels' star and the heartthrob were having an intimate dinner at a sushi restaurant in Venice Beach, when their display of affection caught the attention of the fellow diners, reported Contactmusic.

"Cameron an d Justin were sitting in the corner of Shima totally wrapped up in one another. They couldn't stop touching each other. And we couldn't stop looking, " said an onlooker.

The couple have reportedly been friends for several years, but it is only in recent weeks that Diaz, who has been romantically linked with Maroon 5 star Adam Levine and actors Jude Law and Leonardo DiCaprio, and the 38-year-old former model have started a relationship.

Gilles Marini: Not Coming Back for More Sex

We just got confirmation that it doesn't look like our favorite Frenchman, Gilles Marini, will be reprising his role as Samantha Jones' very well-endowed Malibu neighbor in the follow-up to the Sex and the City movie.

"As far as I know, he will not be in the sequel," Marini's rep says.

The much anticipated SATC 2 begins shooting in a couple of weeks or so.

Marini, 33, has made no secret of wanting to return…

SATC writer and director Michael Patrick King not only sent Marini congratulatory text messages during his stint on Dancing With the Stars, he even attended one of the performance shows.
Marini told me of taking going shirtless during his paso doble with partner Cheryl Burke, "I said, 'Cheryl, I'm talking my shirt off. I want to show Michael I'm still in shape.' I know he is writing beautiful things lately, and maybe he could put me in one of his projects."

But it's not like Marini is sitting home waiting for a new gig. He's currently shooting a spot on Brothers & Sisters in which he plays a love interest to Sarah Walker (Rachel Griffiths).

"Call time 6 am. We are shooting at beautiful Disney ranch," Marini tweeted on Monday. "Never been there yet. I am ready."

Just two days before, he simply posted, "Rachel Griffiths = Brilliant."

He'll also pop up on next season's Nip/Tuck as the younger, bad-boy husband of Julia's mom, played by Vanessa Redgrave.

In addition to acting, Marini is also working on an album.

Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall and Mr Bigamy

Being an un-gay bloke, I never much cared for Sex And The City. Not my cup of tea, ducky...
So, like any self-respecting male, I wasnt anticipating British-born Kim Cattralls Who Do You Think You Are? with any particular excitement.

How wrong was I? Unravelling the mysterious disappearance of her grandfather George Baugh, Kim delivered this outstanding BBC productions best-ever episode.

I think its going to end in tears, sighed the engaging actress, whose Liverpudlian family emigrated to Canada when she was six leaving behind them a heartbreaking story of wicked betrayal.

But with great dignity, Kim didnt cry. Even when she discovered that the man who abandoned her mother Shane and her two sisters when they were little girls was a shameless bigamist who simply married again and had more children.

Son of a bitch, hissed Kim.

Electrifying telly as Kim revealed the damning evidence and Shane who, at the age of eight, watched her dad walk out on her for ever spat: You selfish bastard.

No happy ending. But what a story!
